Nevada Oral & Facial Surgery was co-founded by Drs. R.F. John Holtzen and Brendan Johnson in 1999.
Our Doctors
- Oral surgeons complete an additional 4-6 years of hospital-based residency training beyond the four years of general dental school.
- Specialty training includes anesthesia, head and neck surgery, pathology, trauma and radiology. This training allows them to expertly provide a variety of services related to the teeth, mouth, jaws and face.
- General anesthesia is administered by a board certified dental anesthesiologist within our facility.
- Drs. Holtzen and Johnson are board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery and anesthesia.
Surgical Staff
- Our surgical center meets and exceeds all state and federal OSHA guidelines. Everything that goes into your mouth is either disposable (single use only) or sterilized.
- Experienced, highly trained surgical assistants who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
- On going training in practice administration.
